Sometimes, the best art doesn’t come from a grand plan—it comes from a sprinkle of inspiration. This month, we took that literal (and metaphorical) word and ran with it. Whether it was a sprinkle of stitches, a sprinkle of paper, or a sprinkle of pure messiness, the results are proof that small additions make a big impact.

Tiffany : Messy Pages Journal

Tiffany took the prompt to heart by leaning into her signature style: the messy pages journal. For her, “sprinkling” wasn’t about being precious; it was about scattering marks, drips, and textures across the page until the composition felt just right. It’s a masterclass in letting go and letting the layers fall where they may.

Kristin : Tissue Paper Initials

Kristin went structural and recycled! She grabbed thin cardboard and transformed it into a custom initial. To give it that “sprinkled” effect, she sprinkled the surface with circle bits of colored tissue paper. The result looks like a creative party in physical form!

DeeDee : Seed Stitched Fabric Sardines

Leave it to DeeDee to make something as fishy as a sardine look absolutely adorable. She crafted fabric sardines and then “sprinkled” them with seed stitches. Those tiny, repetitive hand-stitches add the perfect amount of tactile detail, mimicking scales or just adding a dash of whimsical texture to her soft sculptures.

Guest Artist Michele Wherl : Sprinkled Paper Flowers

We were so excited to have Michelle join us this month! She brought a burst of garden magic to the club with her color-sprinkled paper flowers. By scattering paint onto paper before shaping them into delicate blooms, she created a vibrant, speckled effect that makes each petal look like it’s been kissed by a kaleidoscope.
